How can you be down with the Filthy Rich? Vote today for Best of Atlanta 2009! That's right, voting starts today at clatl.com/bestofatlanta, and you can vote for your favorites through July 31. We'll publish the results in September.

Now, you don't have to be Filthy Rich to join us July 23, 9 p.m., at the Masquerade for a Best of Atlanta 2009 party! Admission is only $5, with beverages and food included (while the rations last). Attractive Eighties Women and Hardy Morris of Dead Confederate are on the bill, and you can vote onsite.

We've got some newfangled additions to this year's ballot, too: You'll be able to save and come back to your ballot, and you can vote through Facebook and share your experience with your Facebook friends.

To get you warmed up, take this quick poll on what you love most about the Best of Atlanta issue. Check back here and on our other blogs for more fast ways to get your voice heard. And vote today!

Hey Chris What does the error message say?

Are you guys not including Best Public Access TV Show this year? If not, that's a shame because we've got some really good ones right now.

I'm getting the error too. Says something about "entry too long for line" something something... Got it twice - and it erases your entries EVERY TIME. Annoying.

Hey Chris and KJ. Thanks for the heads up — and sorry for the MAJOR annoyance. We're working on fixing that glitch ASAP. Jeff: We're definitely interested in Best Public Access TV Show as a Critics' Pick. (We discussed that very topic at a meeting a few weeks back.) And yes, it should probably have been a Readers' Pick, too. Maybe it's not too late. I'll check. Mara Shalhoup Senior Editor

Getting an error message upon submission. What gives?

Hey guys. Apparently, the glitch is fixed. PLEASE LEAVE US A COMMENT RIGHT HERE if you continue to run into the dreaded error message. Also, you can vote through Facebook, too — and can even share your votes with your friends if you'd like to a) attempt to influence them and b) show off your superior knowledge of Atlanta's bands, artists, restaurants, etc.

Don't understand how the save and come back later works? I filled in a couple and submitted... haven't gotten an email with info...

Hi Tessa We did have an issue with a short lag between when you submit your vote and then receive the email with your confirmation code, but eventually it comes through. Let us know if it doesn't.

I got an email from Serson / The Subliminator to vote for him. Well the only poll I saw was something from CL I'd never heard of. Seeing Serson play his digital theramins was marvelously cool. There are few acts that I have seen with a coolness factor like watching a guy play infrared sensors. Talk about your ultimate "air instrument" :0)
