News Newt and the truth

Newt Gingrich has an op-ed in the the-113556.html">AJC today extolling the vital importance of truth in the health care debate.
Ha.
And ha.
He is the same man who went on TV Sunday and defended Sarah Palin's crackpot bullshit about Obama's health proposals killing old people and babies.
And let's not forget, Newt's also a serial adulterer who gives speeches about the importance of traditional marriage.
Newt Gingrich treats his conservative audience like they're idiots.

Was Newt telling the truth when he said he regretted saying that Justice Sotomayor was a racist?

And speaking of serial adulterers who sanctimoniously give speeches about the sanctity of marriage, I have to mention this John Edwards interview from last summer in which he tells approx. 80 lies about his affair with Rielle Hunter and the paternity of her child. http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/Story?id=5544981&page=1 This, of course, came after the MSM carefully crafted a "John Edwards is one hell of a noble dude" narrative for his supposedly standing by his cancer stricken wife during her illness. OOPS! This guy makes Newt look like a saint.
