U.S. Attorney David Nahmias was just named as Gov. Sonny Perdue's pick for the Georgia Supreme Court. This from WSB Radio:
"David has the ability to serve this state well and is someone who wecan trust to guard this country's bedrock principles," said Governor
Perdue. "His integrity, commitment to public service and strict
adherence to the law as written will make him an excellent Justice."
Nahmias will replace Leah Ward Sears, the former state chief justice who resigned in June. That means Obama better appoint his replacement soon. Nahmias has been U.S. attorney in Atlanta since 2004.

Does anyone know why the federal government never got around to stockpiling KI (potassium iodide) like it was supposed to do back in 2002? I understand nuclear power plant workers and their families have been taken care of, but what about the rest of us who live in Georgia? Are the guys at www.raisafe.com right?
