Clayton County transit and truth in advertising

Posted by Andisheh Nouraee on Wed, Aug 19, 2009 at 6:17 PM

It's a damn bus service!

People in glass houses, Thomas. What exactly is the Beltline? It's a damn boondoggle, is what it is. Not a bridge to nowhere but a a neverline to nowhere. But you can never say a skeptical word about it.

Well, first off, thanks for reminding me that the post was supposed to be under Andisheh's byline. I was putting it online for him. Your other comments I'll get to later.

Sadly, it is indeed truth in advertising, because a bus service is the only transit Cobb will have tomorrow, or 10,000 tomorrows from now.

Sorry, meant to say Clayton. Clayton is probably more likely to get on board with rail transit than Cobb, but let's not kid ourselves.
