Amir is the best choice for the City Council Post 2 At Large position. He has a degree from Duke abd has taught HS and grew up in this city. We need new faces instead of the same tired POL's running this great city.

Umm, Aaron Watson also has a degree from Duke, has lived in this city for decades, and has worked extensively to improve the city's schools, something Amir (as a private-school kid) likely knows little about. (And just for the record, APS is not a perfect system but is much better than some would lead you to believe). Amir seems like a good guy, but Watson's resume is very impressive, and I haven't heard anything to indicate that he's a "tired POL."

I vote Kyle Keyser. He probably won't win, sure, but why should that be the deciding factor?

I agree with CL, Reed is the best candidate for the position.

What distinguishes Amir Farokhi in the City Council Post 2 At-large race is his desire to put the objective of making Atlanta the most livable city in the nation front and center. It's the "vision thing", as someone one said, and this is what true leadership is all about. With the number of challenges that Atlanta faces we cannot hope to succeed unless our efforts are organized in service to a clearly-stated goal, one that inspires us and gives focus to our work. Amir and his capable opponents may agree on many issues, but only Amir has presented them as pieces of a long-term, coordinated program for improving the city that we all hold so dear.

Fast-talking phone robot-dude wants to know if Ann Fauver endorsement would make a diff in D6. I pushed 1 for Yes, tactically thinking Ann'll be the kiss of death! Our Liz is Ann's heir apparent. Dude also wants to know if I'd support a candidate with a plan to freeze property taxes. None of them has one, so a con job must be in the works. CL should endorse Gallegos for D6 as a wacko pick to make up for hack choices Muller and Watson.

I agree Kasim is the best one for the job. He has put a lot of thought into what creates crime & how to prevent it. The city really needs him.
