Add It Up: Atlanta 2009 runoff turnout bests General Election's

Percentage of registered Atlanta voters who turned out for the Nov. 3 general election: 30

Percentage of registered voters who were predicted to come out for the runoff, which historically sees fewer voters: 12-15

Percentage of registered Atlanta voters who cast ballots in the Dec. 1 runoff: 32

Number of times Fulton County elections official Barry Garner said he's seen runoff turnout higher than the general election: 0

Percentage of registered voters who cast a ballot Dec. 1 at Northside Library, the polling precinct with the highest turnout: 50.67

Number of votes by which Kasim Reed beat Mary Norwood in the Dec. 1 runoff: 714

Difference in votes, by percentage, by which a candidate can request a recount: 1

Number of recounts Fulton County election officials say they conducted in November: 4

Number of times, largely because of electronic voting, recount results were different: 0
