Ga-House-Speaker-election

The wise men and women of the state House of Representatives are gathered today at the Gold Dome to elect their new speaker.

And if you're in the mood to watch the action online, tune in here. Click on "Georgia Legislative Network Live Broadcast" at the bottom right of your screen, under the photo of soon-to-be-former Speaker Glenn Richardson. Then click on the "Republican Caucus Meeting" link to your right. It should automatically launch your computer's media player.

I've you've got any thoughts on the process, feel free to leave them in the comments. Enjoy!

Gawd, it's so pitiful! They sound like a bunch of sad Baptist preachers. Wish they'd go get themselves a damn church and get out of our Legislature. Hahahahaha!! Mics still open during vote. One legislator asks, "How do you spell 'Pelosi?'" Complete with total cracker S. Georgia drawl. Glad we go this white bread fest on tape.
