>> Mexico City now allows gays to marry after the city voted yesterday to change the definition of marriage from between a man and a woman to a "free union between people." The expected bill will also let gays adopt. Time for Atlanta gays to find a nice Papi in Mexico City. (AP)

>> In more marriage news, a Japanese man has married a character from the video game "Love Plus." He took the female character on his handheld Nintendo DS on a honeymoon to Guam. Now that's love. (Reuters)

>> Serbia has officially filed its application to join the European Union, though it may take several years before becoming a member. The EU has allowed 10 post-communist countries to become members, but that whole 1990s civil war thing might not be too appealing to the European gentry. (Bloomberg)

>> The White House has hired Howard A. Schmidt, a former eBay and Microsoft executive as the government's cyber security coordinator in efforts to improve the country's computer networks. Schmidt will have regular access to the president and major input on the country's security. Obama: if you're looking to hire a "cyber coordinator" for your Facebook, look no further. (the Houston Chronicle)

>> And finally, stuck for gift ideas with Christmas right around the corner? A London law firm is offering divorce vouchers as Christmas gifts for 125 pounds. The firm, which usually charges 325 pounds an hour, has already sold more than 50. I have a feeling the law firm may be getting a call from a certain Japanese man any day now... (Reuters)
