Driving back to Atlanta from Florida after Christmas I stopped at the Okefenokee Swamp and rented a canoe for the afternoon to explore. I was moved by the calmness and quietness of the water and the gigantic birds floating in the sky. I could not stop taking photographs of the funky pre-historic looking trees and their spectacular reflections in the water. After editing my work I played with this image by turning it upside down and sideways until it mirrored the feelings I experienced from my canoe. The sideways version touched me the most. It captured how I felt floating in the swamp.
