PushPush Theater has added three more shows of its hilarious 101 Humiliating Stories, according to a new press release:
This year, PushPush will experiment with a repertory of 4-6 shows that rotate throughout 2010. This new format will allow the company to continue the process of development on productions that were presented at the end of 2009 with limited runs, while working on new shows planned for late winter and spring. The new format will begin with an extension of Lisa Kron's 101 Humiliating Stories on January 18, 19, and 20 at 8pm. Other shows running in rep during the year will include new incarnations of the December 2009 line-up of The Secretaries, and The Zoo Story, and Fassbinder's Bremen Freedom. The winter rep will also include a new production of Harold Pinter's The Caretaker.
A one-woman show wonderfully performed by PushPush co-founder Shelby Hofer, 101 Humiliating Stories may well be one of the Top 10 Plays of 2009, one of the Top 50 Atlanta Plays of the Decade and generally one of the funniest and most accessible shows PushPush has ever staged.
