Vernon Jones to Announce His Bid for the Fourth Congressional District Seat

DECATUR, January 14, 2010 – Vernon Jones, former Chief Executive Officer of DeKalb County, Georgia, will hold a press conference tomorrow, Friday, January 15, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. E.S.T. The press conference will be held at 4153 Flat Shoals Parkway, Building C, Decatur, GA 30034 in the 2nd floor conference room. All media is invited.

(twiddles fingers, laughs with glee) Sounds like those shadowy dignitaries made a convincing argument. The former DeKalb County CEO and U.S. Senate candidate's possible opponents in the race to unseat Democratic Congressman Hank Johnson include DeKalb Commissioners (and Jones' former colleagues) Lee May and Connie Stokes.

Johnson, who late last year announced he was battling Hepatitis C, will announce his plans to run for a third term on Saturday.

The tragic but ever-entertaining downfall of Vernon Jones continues. If anyone thinks a district that repeatedly elected Cynthia McKinney will elect a misogynist who brags incessantly about voting for Bush....well, no one thinks that. Vernon's unpopularity will probably just GOTV for Hank, who must be laughing up a storm right now. Man.

Hello I am a Haitian American living in Snellville in need of help to get my parents out of Haiti. They're permanent residents in this country and just need to come back home to their children and grand-children sooner than planned. For some reason, everyone is seeking US citizens and disregard the fact that some US Immigrants lived and worked in this country also. When do they get help? I don't know who else to turn to. Are you able to help or guide me to get some help please? Thank you
