Microsoft, Georgia to join forces and change world forever

  • Can you say 'job training,' Georgia?!?

On Friday morning at 9:30 a.m., Gov. Sonny Perdue will join Microsoft CEO Steve "Get on your feet, developers!" Ballmer to announce a public-private partnership between the state and software giant.

What exactly will it be? Well, very few people know. The governor's announcement didn't include any specifics. Atlanta Business Chronicle tech reporter Urvaksh Karkaria has heard the partnership involves a job-training program — one that unfortunately won't create any jobs or generate local investment.

But fictitious sources tell CL basketball correspondent Andisheh Nouraee that Perdue's teamed up with Microsoft to give a strong boost to the governor's boldest initiative.

Every man, woman and child will finally understand the joy of hooking a smallmouth.

Sorry, it was just too easy.
