Streetalk: What's happening on Valentine's Day?

Paul & Neil
Paul & Neil: On Valentine's Day, we go to the Atlanta Humane Society and adopt a dog every year. We started this two years ago. We have a dog named Dipstick and the other named Dale Earnhardt Jr. We have a very simple relationship. We care for the dogs and love each other. For romance, we have beer. We like to eat all that food that's [tattooed] on my arm. That's my menu, what's on my arm. I (Neil) do the cooking. So we have steak and hot dogs and chicken and potatoes, bacon and chocolate chip cookies. Do you see how fat he (Paul) is?

Jacob & Kayla
Jacob & Kayla: On Valentine's Day, it's about the effort, special things you can do for her that go well and beyond actually liking the person. So it's not about what you buy, but what you do — so either cooking dinner or doing something romantic. (Kayla) I'm so ecstatic about [our first] Valentine's. One day out of the year you can take and celebrate your love and passion for one another. The lust that's in the relationship really comes out on that night. Every girl looks forward to Valentine's. You want to be surprised.

Luis & Destiny
Luis & Destiny: I (Destiny) love that the world celebrates my birthday on Valentine's Day because I love seeing the hearts and the chocolates. But I absolutely hate the day of my birthday because I have to stand in line longer for movies, make reservations to go out and eat, the flower stores are usually sold out and I'm usually the last to get everything — and it's my birthday. Sharing it with my birthday sucks. This year, I'm going to a Mexican restaurant with some friends, and I won't even be going with my boyfriend because he'll be home with the kids. That's my birthday in a nutshell.
