Please pardon the lull

Posted by Thomas Wheatley on Tue, Feb 16, 2010 at 8:21 PM

If you've noticed less than robust activity on Fresh Loaf this week — or any of CL's blogs, for that matter — it's because our office  was a victim of the Perception of Crime©.

Sometime Sunday night or Monday morning, some crafty folks stole copper wire from a telecommunications box that serves the Northyards Office Complex.

We had no Internet. We had no phones. So yesterday we camped out at Octane while AT&T installed a temporary fix. Today we're out and about while they finish up the job. We hope the issue will be resolved soon.

If you need to reach us, the best way to find us is at Manuel's Tavern. How's your day going?

If I had known that at lunchtime, you would've gotten a free dogzilla today, Mr. Wheatley. Next time.

Is Mathew Cardinale a person of intersest in the heist? Wouldn't he like to throttle CL?

Lame excuse. There's enough copper wire on the crown of a certain tussly-headed reporter to power that building for decades.
