Whether it's a new downtown library, gambling at Underground Atlanta or moving the Georgia Music Hall of Fame into the city, Fulton County Commissioner Robb Pitts wants to keep his constituents in the loop. He regularly emails updates about his proposals, concerns and adventures. And after hysterically giggling at these missives, we enjoy pressing "delete." Not the case with yesterday's newsletter.
The commissioner was among several people including the Clermont Lounge's legendary dancer, poet and recycler Blondie who recently participated in the the Fulton County Library's "Living Book" project. Library patrons could "check out" people of interest and chat with them about their lives and experiences.
