Metro Atlanta employers plan to add staff at a reserved pace in the second quarter, according to the Manpower Employment Outlook Survey published March 9.The report, which tracks national and local employment trends, also noted metro Atlantas employment outlook is one of the weakest in the nation.
From April to June, 9 percent of the metro Atlanta companies interviewed plan to hire more employees, while 11 percent expect to trim their payrolls. Another 78 percent expect to keep current staff levels and 2 percent are not certain of their hiring plans.
