Atlanta shuts down city's only retail biodiesel pump

Posted By on Tue, Mar 30, 2010 at 12:05 AM

Atlanta's only 24/7 intown biodiesel pump has been shut down by the city.

The pump's operators say it's permit-related. They don't know if or when the issue the will be resolved.

I didn't have time to call the city to find out details because, nutty coincidence, I ran out of biodiesel on my way home from the now non-working pump.

Intown biodiesel users should check the Atlanta Biodiesel Forum for updates - including possible limited sales at an alternate intown location. In the meantime, the Citgo on N. Main in Alpharetta sells B20 and S.A. White in Marietta (near Ft. Dobbins) sells B20 and B100.
