Kwanza Hall has millions of special prizes!!!

Posted By on Mon, Apr 26, 2010 at 2:39 PM

Turns out that the decision to outsource Atlanta's parking enforcement in hopes of saving some cash hasn't been too successful.

Residents are frustrated, businesses are irked, and now City Hall's trying to figure out how to fix what's become a pain in the ass. (My colleague Gwynedd Stuart's look at the issue will be posted in a bit.)

Last week, Councilman Kwanza Hall proposed a moratorium on the controversial program, which is managed by ParkAtlanta. (They're the folks in the cute little white buggies who are installing parking pay stations all around town). The Transportation Committee is scheduled to discuss his proposal on Wednesday. In the meantime, Hall wants your input on how to improve parking enforcement. And as an incentive, he's offering a "special prize" to the three best ideas. Special prizes for everyone!

WE DEMAND TO KNOW THE SPECIAL PRIZE. (Please let it be like this. Also, the councilman wants to bring more Jewish soul food to the city. It's a Monday in Atlanta what what!
