Eight-year-old Seth Phelps holds a sign yesterday at the Westboro Baptist Church protest in front of Grady High School. Seth's

father Benjamin Phelps, who referred to Seth as "the third son of Adam" said he brings his son to Westboro protests because "this is a wonderful learning experience."

Members of the notorious Westboro Church protested around Atlanta over  the last two days. At Grady more then 500 counter-protesters met the handful of Westboro Church members who stood in a small group on the corner of 10th and Charles Allan Drive with signs with hateful messages such as this one.

The large crowd of counter-protesters were forced by police to stand across 10th street. The counter protesters drowned out the small contingent of church members who were forced to move quickly to their  car at the end of the protest while the counter-protesters surged across the street, headed towards them. Seth Phelps was running the fastest.
