THE PITCH: Physical therapist and diehard New Jersey Nets fan Leslie Wright (Queen Latifah) helps star player Scott McKnight (Common) recover from a career-ending injury. While helping McKnight to heal, the two discover finding true love can unexpectedly come in all shapes and sizes.
MONEY SHOTS: For the guys, McKnight shows his skills on the court as he goes up against Dwight Howard during the playoffs. With just seconds on the clock, McKnight bullets a three-pointer to win the game. It’s the fastest moving bucket shot I’ve ever seen - you can’t help but admire it. For the non-sports fans (you know who you are), to repay Wright for getting him game back, McKnight invites her on a date. They get gussied up and have a romantic night on the town.
