>> Swedish-born BP chairman Carl-Henric Svanberg is under criticism for comments he said at the White House press conference yesterday in which he referred to Americans living on the Gulf coast as "small people" three times. It was just a mistranslation--he meant to say "really important, big time small people." (Huffington Post)

>> A financial analyst has estimated the total legal cost for BP, including criminal fines, is $62.9 billion. Sounds like they'll need a bailout. (the New York Times)

>> Arizona legislature is expected to debate a bill that would deny birth certificates to U.S.-born children of illegal immigrants called "anchor babies" because illegal immigrants hope children will keep them in the States. It's arrogant to think people have children just to stay in our country. I credit it to a lack of sex education in Mexican schools. (CNN)

>> Israel announced it will ease the Gaza Strip blockade to allow more civilian goods to enter the territory. Doritos and Mountain Dew for all Palestinians! (BBC)

>> And finally: A new "Viagra for women" drug disappoints as it didn't test better than placebo in two clinical trials. I'm so glad that our brightest scientists are working on the important matters of the world like old people's libidos. (US News and World Report)
