The Georgia Conservation Voters, the eco-minded advocacy group that keeps close watch on environmental issues under the Gold Dome, has rolled out its list of endorsements for the July 20 primary.
“These thirteen candidates are committed and effective environmental leaders for their constituents,” Chris Osborne, GCV executive director, said in a statment. “These legislators have made protecting the environment a priority. From growing jobs through water and energy conservation to supporting transit, these are the folks who have worked to improve the quality of life for all Georgians.”
The picks are based on candidate questionnaires and interviews, voting records, and input from local conservationists.
The lucky thirteen state representatives and senators are listed after the jump.
