If you're familiar with Atlanta's dance scene, you know there are more dance troupes here than you can count. Still, few groups inspire as much admiration as Lauri Stallings and the women of gloATL. Their performances constantly redefine what we expect from a dance performance and certainly where we expect a dance performance to me. Roem, their latest, will be performed on the Woodruff Arts Center's campus, making a site-specific work for what otherwise would have been a simple, traditional venue. gloATL will perform twice in the weekend, on Friday and Saturday at 8 pm. More details at Woodruff.

The Dashboard Co-op is one of those new ideas that one can't help but admire. It's a virtual gallery, showing the work of a few chosen artists each season online, and occasionally putting on events for the artists they've chosen to support. Their second party and round of artists comes up this weekend at the Goat Farm. Plastic Aztecs, Christian Gordy, Kerry Jones, Romy Maloon, NImer Aleck II, The $tatus Faction and Dave Batterman will all be showing work. They're getting started at 8 pm. More details at Dashboard.
