Taken from a Flagstaff, Arizona, rally against SB-1070
>> A federal judge ruled yesterday that portions of Arizona's immigration law (SB 1070) were unconstitutional, but many Mexican immigrants have already started returning home. You know what they say: there's no place like tu casa. (the LA Times)

>> One of the most senior members of Congress, Rep. Charles Rangel (D-NY), will face ethics allegations against him today including accepting four rent-controlled apartments in New York City. Can you blame him? I'd literally kill for one, nonetheless four, rent-controlled NYC apartments. (ABC News)

>> Six Democratic members held a silent “sit-in” in the Senate chamber yesterday to protest the Republican's blocking of jobs legislation. Wow. Silent protest. How political. (Politico)

>> Time reports that while the long-term danger of the BP oil spill are still unknown, the accident is not inflicting the severe environmental damage predicted. Birds, fish and dolphins have been largely okay, and only a small fraction of Louisiana's coastal marshes have been lost to oil. Listen, I'll take good news wherever I can get it. (Time)

>> And finally: The House Financial Services Committee passed legislation today to enable Americans to gamble online. Thank God our government is working for the people. (
