Can You Match Catwoman With Her Owner?

  • DC Comics
At the convergence point of CL's Pet Issue and America's Inception Fever, we find Perez Hilton reporting today that leaks from Christopher Nolan's new Batman script include references to Selena Kyle, the demure alter ego of one Catwoman. Though we've seen Catwomen good (Michelle Pfeiffer) and bad (Halle Barry) slink across the big screen, both have been exceedingly broad; Nolan's is sure to be a more subtle, thought-provoking take on the fanboy favorite. But who will play her? An early, now-rescinded rumor put Emily Blunt in the catsuit, but the feline starlet we'd most like to see wielding the whip is other-wordly Oscar-winner Tilda Swinton (hat tip to's Catherine Bray, who nominated Swinton just after The Dark Knight hit theaters).

So who would get you caterwauling as Batman's sexiest nemesis?

This is the way Dexter ends: not with a bang, but with a series of boring chases, preposterous coincidences, and an intriguing (but wholly predictable) last-second revelation that is not necessarily too little, but is far, far too late.
