Impressive toe typist shows her stuff on GMA

Posted by Gwynedd Stuart on Wed, Aug 4, 2010 at 11:13 AM

Glenwood Ave. resident Amy Marie Windom is getting national attention today for both her ingenuity and digital dexterity. As we reported yesterday, Windom used her to toes to IM for help after being bound to her bed during a home invasion early yesterday morning.

But Windom's account of the terrifying break-in and her subsequent cry for help has had its skeptics. Why would a robber have taken other valuables but left a perfectly good laptop behind? And, really, how did she manage to type an even remotely legible message with her toes?

Winsom and her feet (good thing she appears to have found time for a pedicure) appeared on Good Morning America today to demonstrate that her metatarsals could, in fact, navigate a keyboard with relative ease — at least with the help of a power cord. Check it out:
Robin's convinced!
