What do Steven "King of Pops" Carse, Luma "Outcasts United" Mufleh, and Michael "Scoutmob" Tavani have in common? Aside from being three hardworking, innovative locals, they're all going to be at One Twelve Gallery tomorrow for "Making Ideas Happen," a conference organized by author Scott Belsky. The conference promises a "day of practical insights and inspiration will move ideas out of our heads and into reality with a result of making a better world."

Belsky is the author of Making Ideas Happen, which is sort of like motivational reading for the "creative class" that economists are always talking about. In a more tangible sense, you'll get to hear from people who've actually made an impact in Atlanta and their thoughts on how to achieve that.

Getting into this thing isn't cheap, but the lineup of speakers is worth, at the very least, the time it takes to learn about their accomplishments. Find out all the details at Plywood People.
