Transit MARTA to brief riders about upcoming service cuts

MARTA's board in June approved a laundry list of cuts and changes to fill a nearly $70 million shortfall.
Upcoming modifications include eliminated bus routes, increased prices for some monthly and Mobility passes, and reductions in the number of station agents. More than 734 employee positions — including 300 warm bodies — were eliminated to fill the budget hole.
