Morning Newsdome: Americans hate on Michelle Obama for not staying in a cheap European hostel

Posted by Bobby Feingold on Mon, Aug 16, 2010 at 10:59 AM

>> China has passed Japan to become the world's second-largest economy. And maybe if they're lucky, they'll succeed the U.S. and have double-dip recessions to look forward to. (the New York Times)

>> Many activists are urging France to pay back the €17 billion "independence debt" to Haiti that the Caribbean country was forced to pay nearly 200 years ago. Good luck with that. (the Guardian)

>> Michelle Obama's approval rating dropped from 64 to 50 percent after a vacation to Spain was misreported as being overly expensive. Jesus, should she have just stay in a youth hostel? Now the First Family is vacationing in Panama City Beach. This how we punish the presidential family. (the Washington Examiner, the LA Times)

>> The Taliban stoned to death an Afghan couple accused of adultery in front of a big crown at a bazaar yesterday, marking the second reported public killing this month. Tiger Woods should feel so lucky he doesn't live in Afghanistan. (BBC News)

>> And finally: Ex-JetBlue flight attendant and folk hero Steven Slater has been offered a reality TV show. He really is an inspiration. (The Wrap)

The right never, criticizes, comments or makes a point. They just hate and hate and hate. Don't listen to anything they say or the hate will rub off on you and then no one will listen to you and you will be denied a place in the correct and enlightened intellectual bubble.

That vacay was over the top; Even Democrats have thought so. Maybe you should look into it a bit before jumping to liberal conclusions. I happen to like Ms. Obama but her trip was bad pr at a bad time for her husband and democrats in general.

Hey who could say no to a Tax Payer Funded trip on air force one for you and your 40 freinds ($73,781.50 x2 round trip), costing about $80,000 per day. Especially during these prosperous times!

"The truth is, in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." -
-- Michelle Obama

I think we all know who that someone else is...

Even The Guardian says that "the guys who got money from illegal means really don't want to spend it,".

We are broke people! But like my parents used to say when we struggled to pay the bills - Being broke is temporary - being poor is a state of mind that hard work can get you out of.
