>> BP’s internal investigation determined that the Gulf of Mexico oil leak was the fault of the workers misreading pressure data, though the company would not comment on the report. Go to your room, BP, until you can accept responsibility for your actions! (USA Today)

>> With the U.S.’s pending withdrawal from Iraq, we will be leaving a “legacy of waste,” said the head of the Special Inspector General for Iraq Reconstruction. While the $53-billion reconstruction effort had some successes, many projects, like the (taxpayer-funded) $40 million northern Baghdad prison, will be left completely abandoned. It may look like a failure, but I look at it as a success in molding Iraq in our image. (LA Times)
