New poll shows Republicans enjoying lead in Senate, LG, school superintendent, AG races

Roy Barnes has a lot of ground to cover if he wants to return to the governor’s mansion, a new poll says.

Nine percent of those polled by SurveyUSA support Libertarian candidate John Monds. Four percent of likely voters remain undecided. The poll has a 4.1 percent margin of error.

Respondents were also polled on other statewide races including U.S. Senate, lieutenant governor, attorney general and school superintendent. The Republican candidate leads the pack in each race.
