You'll never believe how much vacant office space Atlanta has

Posted By on Thu, Sep 16, 2010 at 10:55 AM

From a fantastic Bloomberg piece about the empty skyscrapers and vacant office space located throughout our fair city:

Atlanta currently has enough empty office space to fill the equivalent of 24 Bank of America Towers, with vacancies of 30 million square feet at midyear, according to Cushman.

It's unclear whether Bloomberg is referring to the Bank of America Tower in New York or the majestic Bank of America Plaza right here in Midtown. Either way, that's a lot of empty floors and wasted space. The article's worth a read.
