Today's second most awkward workplace (first might be New Birth MBC): U.S. Sen. Saxby Chambliss' Atlanta-area office.

Jim Galloway reports that the senator's staff is investigating whether a comment on Joe.My.God, a popular LGBT blog edited by Joseph Jervis, was posted by someone in Chambliss' office off I-75 near Cobb Galleria.

Jervis posted the IP address of the person who left comment — the thought-provoking "All faggots must die" — after the Senate failed yesterday failure to repeal "Don't Ask, Don't Tell." Jervis' tech-savvy readers traced it to Chambliss' office.

A Chambliss spokeswoman told Galloway the senator's staffers were investigating and "[o]nce we have ascertained whether these claims are true, we will take the appropriate steps."
