CNN's Rick Sanchez calls Jon Stewart a "bigot," can't really explain why

CNN anchor Rick Sanchez appeared on comedian Pete Dominick's satellite radio program yesterday and launched into some comedy of his own.

Basically, Sanchez says that Jon Stewart, host of Comedy Central's "The Daily Show," is a "bigot" because he picks on people who are different than he is. Or something. I'd like to say Sanchez's logic is flawed, but really it's completely non-existent. Take a looksee:

The AJC hypothesizes that Sanchez's comments are part of CNN's broader marketing strategy, noting that Atlanta-based CNN has fallen behind both MSNBC and Fox News in the ratings.

A skeptic might say Sanchez's comments may fall in line with CNN's marketing strategy. By calling MSNBC too liberal, and Fox too conservative, Sanchez is telling listeners CNN is the moderate choice for news.

Well, if CNN's marketing strategy also involves making its anchors sound like morons, this sure was a success!
