Fox 'Phantom' gets mention in the NYT

  • CL file
Longtime Fox Theatre resident, Joe Patten — better known as "the Phantom of the Fox" — made headlines in the New York Times today following his decision to sue the theatre he's called home for three decades.

On Monday, Patten filed suit against The Fox for "willful, intentional, and deliberate acts of housing discrimination" after the Atlanta Landmarks Inc. board voted in August to terminate his rent-free, lifetime lease.

The story appeared on page A17 of today's print edition.
