Generally speaking, comedians are a penniless bunch. Now the time has come for comedians, and the greater community of laughter alike, to band together and help local comic and underground staple, Matt Pharr, pay some bills. Mr. Pharr doesn't need help with rent, or Ramen noodles, he needs knee surgery.
Every night, Pharr goes out on stage risking life and limb to perform for the masses, while uninsured. Recently, Matt's knee cried Uncle, and now requires a corrective surgery that is slightly beyond his financial means. Tomorrow night you can show support in lieu of insurance, by coming to the Knee Jerk Reaction Benefit, Tuesday, October 12 at 8 p.m. at the Laughing Skull Lounge. Thirteen of Atlanta's funniest comics will be performing, and 100% of the proceeds will go to cover Pharr's medical expenses!!!

Please come out and donate so we can get one of our city's best back on stage where he belongs... drunkenly telling offensive jokes.
