2009 AIDS Walk
Did you know that, according to the CDC, metro Atlanta's HIV infection rate is at epidemic levels? And that Georgia is now the 9th in the nation for new HIV infections?

That's why AID Atlanta is so crucial to the city's health. Having reached 94,000 Atlantans with HIV education and outreach services, AID Atlanta is needing funding more than ever this year due to the down-turned economy.

This Sunday is the 20th Annual AIDS Walk in Piedmont Park, and even CL has a team! (You can donate to the walk or to our team or even join our team if you want to!) The walk benefits over 25,000 people living with HIV/AIDS and helps prevent new infections with city-wide educational programs. It's supposed to be a beautiful day this Sunday, so get out to Piedmont Park, put on your sweatbands, and join CL in fighting HIV/AIDS!
