Politics is a Joke
Brian Hill, executive director of the Atlanta Dogwood Festival, and Marshall Chiles, owner of the Laughing Skull Lounge, are teaming up to officially announce that “Politics is a joke.” Tonight, at the Laughing Skull Lounge, local comedians from the left (Dave Stone, Paul Gallois, Matt White) will be debating today’s pressing political issues with local comics from the right (Mike Kaiser, Matt O’Meara, Andy Sandford). Hill and Chiles will moderate the evening’s banter, at the end of which an audience vote will be taken to determine which way to vote in next week’s election. The show starts at 8 p.m., tickets are $15, but you get a $5 discount with the password “Palin.”
