"The Candy Shop" targets child exploitation

On Monday, Nov. 8, Georgia's Whitestone Motion Pictures debuts "The Candy Shop," a 30-minute short that, judging from its trailer, presents a Tim Burton-style allegory for child exploitation. The film's debut marks the launch of "Stop the Candy Shop," a one-year campaign by the Street Grace advocacy group to combat child sex-trafficking in Georgia. "The Candy Shop" screens at 8 p.m. Nov. 8 at the Fox Theatre.
