Morning Newsdome: South Korea wants U.S. to step off

>> President Obama failed to reach an exports agreement with South Korea today in what would have been the largest bilateral trade agreement of the past decade. Another country doesn't want to get the short end of the stick? Bastards. (the Wall Street Journal)

>> Obama told reporters in Seoul today that his "number one priority is making sure that we make middle-class tax cuts permanent," even if they have to extend Bush tax cuts for the wealthy to do so. Seems like a genius way to reduce the deficit! (Reuters)

>> Eruptions from Indonesia's Mount Merapi volcano have killed an estimated 206 people and left 400,000 others to flee their homes. Little Barry comes to the country, and then this disaster happens. (CNN)

>> Nobel Laureate Aung San Suu Kyi of Burma will be released after spending the last two decades under house arrest. Thanks for nothing this guy! (BBC)

>> And finally: Scientists have introduced millions of genetically-modified sterile male mosquitoes to the Cayman Islands in an attempt to cut down on dengue, the most common mosquito-borne viral disease in humans. What could possibly go wrong? (Yahoo! News)
