MINT Gallery will host a party for the latest edition of FORM: artistic independence on Friday, Dec. 10. The annual book, now in the third year, “aims to provide equal space to artists both established and emerging” from Atlanta’s local scene. The project is curated by the folks at WE Design Atlanta, a design firm that offers pro bono design services to non-profits and charitable organizations.

An early proof of the FORM: 2010 book was dropped off at the CL offices earlier this week. Some of our favorite locals like Ann Marie Manker and Lucha Rodriguez get expansive spreads in the book. Hudgens Prize winner Gyun Hur is included, showing images of her much talked about shredded silk flowers installation at Get This! as well as some great shots of her collaboration Juri Onuki in New York. Nikita Gale shares some cool images from her Colorscapes series and Seana Reilly has some beautiful graphite abstractions from her Schematics series. These talents are mixed in with some promising artists like Robert Chamberlin, an undergraduate at GSU who works with conceptually-driven photography.

The release party gets started at 8 pm and will feature work from some of the artists included in the book, More details at WE Design Atlanta.

Preview work from the book after the jump.
