The artist collective and virtual gallery Dashboard Co-Op just announced their line up of artists for the coming new year. Included are some familiar locals like Kombo Chapfika, currently showing at Aurora Coffee, and Helen Hale, whom you might remember as a dancer from the Convergent Frequencies project:

Katy Malone Atlanta-based performance artist, sculptor
Jay Wiggins Atlanta-based woodworker, furniture designer
Sean Abrahams Atlanta-based illustrator, painter
Patrick Flibotte New York-based sculptor
Helen Hale Atlanta-based choreographer, dancer
Kombo Chapfika Atlanta-based painter, videographer
Johnathan Welsh Atlanta-based painter
Johnathon Kelso Atlanta-based photographer
Duncan Shirah Atlanta-based sculptor

In the email announcing the latest picks, the organization mentions that “our members have made $13,000 from the sell sic of their work at Dash exhibitions (they keep 100% of proceeds).” Not shabby. The artists will show in a group exhibition on Jan., 15, 2011 at 999 Brady Street next to Miller Union. Interviews and images of the artist’s work is up now at Dashboard Co-Op.
