Posted By on Mon, Dec 13, 2010 at 11:00 AM

>> Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad surprisingly dismissed the country’s long-time foreign minister Manouchehr Mottaki today while Mottaki was overseas. Ahmadinejad needed Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei's final permission to sack Mottaki and appoint Iran’s Head of Atomic Energy Organization Akbar Salehi. I knew those Salahi's couldn't be trusted! (the New York Times, Politico)

>> Swedish police have called the two explosions Saturday in Stockholm that killed the suicide bomber and wounded two others "an act of terrorism." The bomber, allegedly 29-year-old Iraqi Taimour Abdulwahab Al-Abdaly who lived in the U.K., blew himself up while trying to set off a car bomb. Someone didn't do their homework. (BBC)

>> Despite the huge Republican landslide in this year's elections, RNC Chairman Michael Steele is expected to announce today that he won't run for a second term. So I guess the hip-hop makeover didn't go so well? (Fox News, TPM)

>> Ruth Madoff reportedly blames her husband Bernie for their son Mark's suicide on Saturday. Mark, who was apparently broke and unable to find a job on Wall Street, hung himself with his dog's leash while his 2-year-old son was asleep in the other room on the two-year anniversary of Bernie's arrest. Mark and his brother Andrew turned their father into authorities when he confessed to the giant scheme and haven't talked to him since. Mo money mo problems. (the NY POst)

>> And finally, perhaps Assange needs to auto-tune WikiLeaks: The most popular YouTube video of the year is Antoine Dodson and Auto-Tune the News's "Bed Intruder Song," with 60 million views. A cultural gem! (YouTube Trends)
