Artist Brian Dettmer discusses paper cuts, we've got a Ponce Crush, Fahamu Pecou is the Shit! and other holiday cheer.


Fahamu Pecou is the Shit! In fact, he's something of a Fahamenon. Fresh off trips to Paris and Miami's Art Basel, Pecou returns to Atlanta for an edition of his talk show "The 15 Project" at the Contemporary. Tonight's guests include High Museum contemporary art curator Michael Rooks and Grammy Award-winning singer and Arrested Development member Dionne Farris. DJ Kemit and the Strumming Mummy are also on tap.

ABV Gallery opens From the Bay to the A, featuring art and designer games from TOTT Global whose artists include Ron English, Claw Money, Nate Van Dyke and more. Tonight's opening is also the release party for ATL shoe boutique Wish's collaboration with Vans on "The Sophie," a twist on the saddle oxford.

MOCA GA's hosting an open house featuring artists Jennifer Onofrio Fornes, Stefanie Jackon, Kwan Young Lee, and Philip Morsberger from its current exhibit, Within State Lines II.
