Laurent Gbagbo: Who, me?
>> West African leaders are in the Ivory Coast today to force Laurent Gbagbo out of the presidency or face military intervention. The U.N. certified the results of the country's presidential election which found his opponent as the winner, but Gbagbo won't concede. Try to act like you care, U.N. (the Houston Chronicle)

>> Iran executed two men today, one for allegedly spying for Israel and the other for belonging to an anti-Islamic revolution group. Iran blames foreign media for the nation's state of protests regarding election fraud, but perhaps it's time for a little personal accountability, Ahmadinejad. (the Christian Science Monitor)

>> Blizzards shut down many northeastern airports earlier this week, and while some flights resumed, many of the flights will be delayed for days during one of the busiest flight times of the year. Being with your family over the holiday is difficult enough, can you imagine being trapped with them for an extra week? Scary. (the New York Times)

>> Police charged 55-year-old Hassan Malik last night with second-degree murder in connection with the woman's body found in a suitcase in New York. Malik reportedly killed the victim after paying to have sex with her and noticing she took more money than agreed on. That is not the Christmas spirit. (the NY Post)

>> And finally: President Obama was voted the most admired man in a Gallup Poll for the third year in a row, and Hillary Clinton was voted the most admired woman for a ninth year. Great! But Sarah Palin came in at second. Oh. (USA Today)
