Politics On that Newt Gingrich presidential bid...

Slate's Dave Weigel has a good point.
Sure, Newt "I have a certain fondness for being back in Atlanta" Gingrich seems as if he'd be the GOP's best shot at unseating President Obama. But the percentage of people who'd promote the former Speaker of the House and Georgia politico to the White House is roughly the same as it was 16 years ago.
Now, let's try that poll again with Neal Horsley as the Republican candidate. Everything would change.
