Most popular damn posts o' the week

Why hello there
Politicians with Lego-esque haircuts! Out-of-control school systems! Anti-Atlanta bias! Here's what CL readers most enjoyed reading on Fresh Loaf, the journalistic equivalent of Farmville.

1. The only thing commenters enjoy arguing about more than Sarah Palin giving people advice is Newt Gingrich giving Sarah Palin advice. (In the end, however, we just talk about the former vice presidential candidate.)

2. The Atlanta Journal-Constitution's tries a bold new marketing tactic: Patting itself on the back for what we considered a "hit piece."

3. For some reason, people really, really care about Atlanta Public Schools being placed on probation. Oh wait...

4. While dwelling on the Atlanta Falcons' disappointing performance against the Green Bay Packers, we realized that "Atlanta is like the JC Chasez of sports towns." And that visiting Cheeseheads should respect the away fan's code of conduct.

5. Finally, newspapers should have thick skins.
