Those who haven't seen Dance Truck yet won't want to miss the opportunity to catch it at its current stop: The Atlanta Contemporary Art Center this Friday evening. Dancer Corian Ellisor of CORE will preview his first full-length piece WikiDance, Onur Topal-Sumer of Full Radius and Lori Teague of Emory Dance will likewise showcase solo work, while performance art duo Andy Imm and Edie Gonzalez, also known as DE, will premiere a movement-based piece. The event also includes poetry from Free Poems on Demand and celeb-donated bake sale treats (CL's own Wyatt Williams has promised some tasty baked goods, and I'm baking up a batch of my soon-to-be-famous Kahlua and Cocoa Nib Brownies. Full disclosure: They rule).
Dance Truck at the Atlanta Contemporary Arts Center this Friday, February 11, at 7 pm. Admission is free. The Contemporary is located at 535 Means Street NW in the Westside Arts District.
