City Hall East tower gets tagged — again

Last June, City Hall East's iconic tower was tagged by graffiti artists — a move that made us wonder which areas of Atlanta should be off-limits to murals and tags. The city, which is in talks to sell the former Sears & Roebuck catalog distribution center on Ponce de Leon Avenue to Jamestown Properties, ultimately cleaned up the art. City officials also took steps to curb any future vandalism.

Well, graffiti artists — including Juse and someone else whose signature we can't identify — apparently paid another visit to the massive vacant building sometime this weekend.

A spokesman for Mayor Kasim Reed says he's checking with the department in charge of the property to find out when work crews can clean up the most recent piece.
