Many people gathered to watch the implosion of the Roosevelt House early on Feb. 27 on Centennial Olympic Park Drive. I was there at 6:30 a.m.; the implosion started at 7:30 a.m. and in less than a minute the 17-story building turned into a pile of debris. The building was public housing for senior and disabled citizens.
